Our client recently had their domain suspended due to the domain having a de-registered ACN (all Australian domains require a valid ABN, ACN or other form of valid Australian registration).
The domain registrar had emailed the client to advise, but the emails were going to spam. After a lack of response, the registrar suspended the domain as per their licensing rules.
In this case the domain is not managed by dbg, however as part of our client site monitoring and notifications of DNS errors, we received notification of the issue, altered the client, and provided advice on rectifying the issue.
As the site was down for over 19 hours, the disruption to the business was enormous – the clients were unable to receive purchases, invoices or emails and it was crucial for them that we helped resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
